Captivating, Nov 20 2009
There aren’t many diet books that interest me anymore, especially one that I would sit and read fully in a single sitting. However, “The Liberation Diet” easily kept me captivated throughout its entirety. It is rare to find a book on diet today that is based on common sense and historical precedent. Kevin Brown and Annette Presley have managed to cut through our contemporary nutritional garbage and bring to market a book constituted on solid dietary principles and a simple rationale.
Much of their content flies in the face of the vast majority of our current dietary “experts,” many of whom represent political and/or pure commercial interests. What I found refreshing was how their suggested protocol aligned almost identically with one of the greatest natural bodybuilders of the 20th century, Vince Gironda. In order to strengthen and state their case, Kevin and Annette went back in time to chronicle the works of our nutritional and Physical Culture pioneers. They lay out a history that clearly supports their claim that our traditional North American dietary staples were sound in nutrition and facilitated excellent health.
The mandate of “The Liberation Diet” is to both free the general laymen of the current confusion surrounding healthy food and make simple alterations for safe and effective fat loss that have stood the test of time. Hopefully this book will see wide spread distribution. Excellent job!

It should be obvious by now that the food guide pyramid and low fat diets aren’t working. We need to return to the diet our ancestors ate before the invention of processed food.” Ms. Presley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science from the California State University of Los Angeles, is registered with the Commission of Dietic Registration, licensed in the state of Texas and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Council on Strength and Fitness.

Hi Kevin this is Jake Howard,
I am one of your Visionary Trainers in Brooklyn.
First of all I want to say thank you for opening my eyes at the seminar. I have since done some of my own
research and I am horrified at the way the entire nation and most of western civilization has been conned by the large food companies and associates. Second, your book and my research answered any questions I had regarding the Liberation Diet, and I have already completely changed my eating pattern/habits. Thanks.

Hi Kevin
I finally managed to read The Liberation Diet.
It’s brilliant! The book has a very strong Introduction and the use of The Matrix as an illustration was inspired. The writing style is also very easy to read for the layman and holds the interest; I wasn’t bored with it once. In many ways it is a ‘popular’ version of my latest book, Trick and Treat: how ‘healthy eating’ is making us ill. We both blame the ‘health industry’, BigFood and BigPharma, and advise eating a more natural, largely meat-based diet.
I loved The Liberation Diet. And although most of the content was known to me, I did learn things I hadn’t known. Thank you for that education.
Best wishes for the book. People need to know how they are being manipulated. The more copies of The Liberation Diet and Trick & Treat are sold, the sooner our people will have a chance to be healthy again as God intended.

Having completed The Liberation Diet, I find myself still shaking my head in agreement with the highly entertaining writing of the authors. The book is well written and well researched. You will want to discuss the ideas expressed with your friends and your doctor. I really enjoyed this book!

Another Doctor Recommends The Liberation Diet
Doctor Recommended
As a physician, when it came time for me to lose weight and improve my over-all health, I was supposed to know the safest and most efficient way to get in shape. Yet when it came time to put my plan into effect, I felt my 15 years of medical training as a family physician didn’t equip me to achieve my weight loss and exercise goals within my
scheduled 100 hour work week. I clearly needed professional help. The solution was to find a personal trainer who would come to me on a flexible schedule and teach me about nutrition, diet, and exercise.
Before working with Kevin Brown, President of Visionary Trainers, I had spent about 6 weeks on a poorly designed exercise regimen that was devoid of good nutritional advice. Kevin Brown, a certified personal trainer with 20 years experience, designed a plan that helped me eat better, diet smarter, and exercise my way to a 16 lb weight loss in less than 4 weeks. Now Kevin has written this book, The Liberation Diet, that tells the truth about the mis-information on weight management in today’s society and teaches individuals how to achieve lasting weight loss success.
How does this book differ from the rest? It’s a revolutionary look at why traditional diets don’t work and what everyone should be doing to improve their lifestyles. Most weight management programs are monolithic in their approach, placing all individuals on the same regimen regardless of their individual needs. Not everyone will achieve their weight loss goals by just following the grapefruit diet, or walking 1 mile a day, or even by just cutting carbs. The Liberation Diet teaches you how to combine the right balance of nutrition, diet, and exercise to achieve your lifestyle success.
This book is groundbreaking work for use by novice or even advanced trainees. I highly encourage anyone interested in a safe, effective, and pharmaceutical free diet, to read The Liberation Diet. The experience will set you free to discover secrets to improve your overall quality of life.

Dear Kevin:
What the?! It “had” to be something more than just eating only two meals in the day, resisting the urge to eat near bedtime but rather drinking 12 oz of Mangosteen water…yet the scale this morning showed 239.5 instead of the 245 it showed after my shower the
preceding day.
Understanding God’s science and how it works in “our temple” is VERY HELPFUL in making the changes needed for a slim healthful life style. Understanding who the real fight is against is very helpful to me too. It’s no commercial but it is one more person joining the ranks.
Let’s see if today is the first day I flip for life.
Off to church now but will set up the system of notes and calendar through my yahoo when I return later today.
God Bless YOU and your family and thank you,
Bobby G

Fasting Helps Hypoglycemia and DiabetesJanuary 6, 2008 | | by Tom Coghill of Fasting.ws
Hypoglycemics and diabetics can juice fast using slices of bananas and avocados to balance the blood sugar level. Spirulina is also exceedingly beneficial for balancing blood sugar levels. The trick to balancing blood sugar levels is drink smaller amounts of juice timed 20 to 30 minutes apart. Fruit juices are better due to the fact that they have fructose a much slower release sugar than the glucose in carrots. But if you drink the juice slowly, your blood sugar levels can be maintained.

Dear Kevin,
As you know, I had cancer in 1999.
I had chemo and a stem cell transplant and 1 year of steroids, my weight kept going up and up. In 2000 I was cancer free.
Then I wanted to lose the weight, I tried every diet out there to lose the weight. I would lose a pound here or there but it always came back. One day I was searching the internet I came to your web site, http://visionarytrainers.com it made sense to me but I never thought my husband would go for this. I finally talked him into just listening to what you had to say.
That was the best day of my life. You not only changed my life but my husband’s as well. We eat better and exercise something I had given up on, I have lost 43 pounds and Gary has lost 38 pounds. Gary has reached his goal but I know now I will reach my goal. And this time we both have made a life changing decision together.
I am so thankful to you and all you have done for us.
This is now a way of life for us.
Thank you Carolyn L.
