Okay Kevin, you've convinced me to eat some bugs, but only if they are fried! None of those juicy bugs or ones that are still moving when I put them in my mouth. Snake or lizard, no problem! And I have to agree with the nutritional value; it's just the idea that is creepy crawly. You know, even Andrew gets creeped out over some foods, like the cheese with the live maggots in it; but they said it was delicious. Thanks for the post! I enjoyed it!

Oh, I want to- really. I especially love the idea of free food. I take the free food from my yard on a regular basis, but never the food that has been moving around- except in the breeze. One day...

This is very informative but to be sure of your dental health always have a regular dental check because the dentists have the right equipment to know your oral health status and do something about any bad diagnosis.

It has literally been decades since I've consumed raw milk. It's just not something I can find easily in my city.

It seems a little odd that store can sell raw produce but not raw milk, especially since so many deaths and illnesses are the result of contaminated produce.

I don't understand cholesterol all that well, but I do know that cholesterol-lowering drugs like statins and niacin cause me to have lots of unpleasant side-effects like headaches, fuzzy thinking, and pain in my shoulders and hips.

No fun at all ... and even less fun when my doctors scold me for not taking the medications.

Why do Eskimos, who typically eat a diet loaded with animal fat, have very low rates of heart disease?
The answer is that high cholesterol isn’t the cause of heart disease - oxidised cholesterol is.

Thank you for your comment. I have two questions for you: 1 - who funded the study and 2 - what were the people eating, taking statin drugs, Lipid panel levels, lifestyle, age, occupation, etc. The context of the study parameters of such study need to be explored. Let's face it, they are still trying to prove the low-fat hypothesis and keep coming up short, even when the studies are biased. The key to answer the question of crystals in the arteries is answered by researching as mentioned.. Polyunsaturated fats are inflammatory, as well as Pattern B LDL which would be indicated if TG/HGL ratio more than 1:1 as stated in blog...that leads to tearing in the arteries, etc. You will find that ultimately it's the insulin response from sugar, processed carbohydrates, pasta, bread, fructose, etc., that causes heart disease, - starting out most often with diabetes, metabolic disorder or syndrome X. Just follow it back to the diet and lifestyle. Janet Stuck, ND CNC WNC MH CNHP LE
